I was hoping some of you might like to hazard a guess as to how many weeks along I am.

I can't go by my LMP as that was in October and I'm definitely not 5 months pregnant

My cycles have always been irritatingly irregular; anywhere between one month apart to 3+

I had a negative pregnancy test on January 10th and three positives on February 10th. My morning sickness started instantly and horrendously on January 22nd.

Going by the fact you're two weeks pregnant when you actually conceive (if you know what I mean) and that I read morning sickness starts between 4-6 weeks and a pregnancy test can show negative for up to 4 weeks, I was going on me being about 12 weeks by now (so my LMP would in theory have been about December 23rd).

I had my booking appointment today and my midwife, going on everything I went on too, reckons I'm only 10 (reckoning my LMP would have been around January 5th)

I have a scan booked in for 26th March when I can get dated properly. I'm convinced I'm further along than she thinks I am, but she's the professional, right?

I hate not knowing! I've been tracking my weeks through the pregnancy calendar on the Babycentre website and ticking off milestones as I go but now I feel like I've been taken back two weeks

So, any guesses as to how pregnant I actually am right now?

I'd say between 10-12 weeks.... is there anyway you can pay for a private scan to find out before the 26th? A scan will be the only way to determine your EDD

My last LMP was 1/6 and I got my first positive on 2/1 (although I was testing early and like crazy) and I'll be 10 weeks tomorrow. I didn't get my first bout of m/s until around 2/18 which would've been about 6 weeks. It does sound like you may be a little further along than I am, here's to hoping! Good luck and keep us posted!

Thanks for the replies! I'm convinced I'm further ahead than MW said but I didn't want to seem pushy!

I probably could arrange a private scan somewhere but money is such an issue right now... I waited 5 weeks for my booking appointment, I'm sure I can wait another 9 days for my scan... just feel like I'm constantly counting down to things!

Since you started getting m/s around January 22, I'd say you ovulated early January/late December.. soo about 12-13 weeks. Was your positive pregnancy test REALLY positive or faint? You have to be at least 10-11 weeks.. x




ETA: Also, you must have ovulated sometime in December/early January because any later the egg would have been way too old.

That's all it is when you have kids you count down until they're born, then until their birthdays etc etc

Hi Taylor. the first test was done at the hospital and was really, really strong. The next two were cheapy own brands from Boots that both came up straight away and were almost as strong as the line in the first window.

I have kept all tests. The boots lines have faded a little but are still very visible.

9 days isn't long, all you will be doing is counting down, I went by my lmp and the hosp at the scan put me back a month so that was a pain, good luck with ur scan x
