I just had my first appointment today for my pregnancy and ive been feeling sharper pains here and there on my right side. I google a lot too and thought it could possibly be from ectopic. My Dr said they're rare and that the pain would be really really bad with bleeding and you would know the difference when you felt it. I'm going for an u/s next week just to be sure everything is okay. Its hard not to google things lol hang in there I'm sure everything is okay but if you get bleeding or severe paining would go to the.Dr because ive read ectopics are dangerous

I had like a shooting pain in my left side, and when i went for US on Monday they said it was a corpus luteum cyst, which is norm for early pregnancy. Im so bad for googling things, but is just makes us worry too much so try not too hun, even though i know how hard it is. xx

Oh you're completely right, you'll see next to nothing. The earliest I recommend is 5 and a half weeks but if you can hold out, 6 and a half because you'll def get a HB and they can measure the foetal pole.

As for the pain I have been saying continuously to DH "I swear I ovulated from the left, it's killing me, I'm pretty sure that's my corpus luteum". Sure enough my 8 week scan yesterday showed a big juicy 2cm CL on my left ovary, and boy it hurts some days!

I've been cramping on my left side for weeks now.

Had a scan on Monday and beanie was ok, even saw hb

My doctor said: Oh I can see you conceived your baby with your left ovary ( I tought what the hell? how does she knows this? lol) she said beanie is on my left side and also my uterus is a bit on my left so I guess it is normal

I know is hard but try and stay as relaxed as you can, remember what you feel beanie feels even this early an early scan will def help you feel more confident.

Lol it's got nothing to do where it implants - that's pure chance. I ovulated from the left and my baby is on the anterior (front) wall of my uterus. She would have seen the corpus luteum on the left. The CL is left over from the egg when you ovulate. It is the structure that pumps out the sacred progesterone to keep your uterus from cramping and losing bub.
