10.5 weeks, brown discharge - should I be worried?

Hello ladies,

I guess I am looking for a little reassurance, I am 10w 4 days (going by LMP date) not had any real symptoms apart from sore/bigger boobs and the odd bout of nausea.

Have noticed brown mucus/discharge for the last 2 days, not large amounts but enough for me to notice on panty liner and when wiping (sorry tmi) no cramps or tummy pain.

Getting worried as I am not due my scan until the 30th March and due to having virtually no symptoms (with my little girl I spent the first 3 months puking my guts out or having to lie down as the slightest smell made me feel sick)

Is brown mucus/discharge normal in pregnancy? (dont remember having it last time) or shall I get in touch with doc or midwife.

Hi, I dont want to tell you something you dont want to hear but this is how my missed miscarriage was diagnosed at christmas I started spotting very lightly on 22nd dec but thought nothing of it until boxing day when it was getting heavier and started cramping too. Went and had a scan on 29th dec and was told my baby had gone at 7-8 weeks. I truly hope that this isnt the case for you but please get checked out asap xxx

I have been spotting for 3 weeks now and I already went to ER, saw the heartbeat, blood was all ok and also saw a small hematoma.
Ever since, the hematoma has bled out and I am now on my first day where there is creamy discharge.

Stay positive and if you have any worries or doubts, see a professional.

Hi Ladies,

Well I went for a scan yesterday, it took doc ages to find the baby, then she found it and a heart beat, she said I was measuring at almost a 9 weeks but that they go through growth spurts so the most accurate dates will be on my dating scan. She said she couldn't see any further bleeding or a cause and finally just told me to relax (easier said than done) and not stress as much and if something like a miscarriage was going to occur there was nothing I could do to stop it (again easier said than done). I have my dating scan booked for 30/3/2012. Reassured but still a tad nervous.
