hair coloring question

Ok, I bleached my hair platinum blonde about a month and a half ago, I got my BFP last week, my DARK roots are growing out and I don't want to have half blonde half black hair by the time I deliver, (not attractive ha ha) can I dye my hair back to its natural color without harming the baby and if so is there a "safer" time durring my pregnancy to do this? Like is it better to do it early on or wait till second trimester? Or do I just need to wear a scarf over my hair for the next 8 months?

They say second tri is safer. and really, its safe if you are in a well ventilated area while doing so, Try to buy an ammonia free hair dye.

Thanks! I will probably wait till second tri. And definately use amonia free dye. I'll just wear my hair up until then.

they say with bleach not for it to touch your scalp but iv never had mine bleached in pregnancy just a darker colour, so im not 100% sure. Worth asking your hairdresser x

I asked my hairdresser & she said was fine but I worried so much I called my midwife as had an appt at 11weeks as was going to a ball and looked a total fright my midwife saud there was no problem at all. That was last Friday!x

I bleached my hair a few weeks ago (and was a hair stylist).
It is fine as long as you are in a well ventilated room, i just sat next to an open window.

Definately 2nd tri! I have to cover my grays

(Doesn't help that my hai is so dark) and was about to trip out because they were becoming very visible but I just kept my hair in a ponytail. I even waited two extra weeks because I was nervous about coloring it, but the doc said 12 weeks so I finally touched up at almost 15 weeks and feel SO much better lol.
