I worried about not eating peanut for the allergy factor, but before becoming pregnant I ate peanut butter every day. I stopped for the first few months then said F-it I love peanut butter and need it, so I've been eating it again. Its great source of protein. I don't think there is actual proof that eating or not eating it causes allergies.

I think maybe if you've had a family history of a nut allergy then it's best to stay away during pregnancy, but i've never heard this till recently. I ate peanut butter my whole first pregnancy and my kid Loves peanuts.

I have a severe allergy to all tree nuts, so I cannot eat them at all (pregnant or not). I'm able to eat peanuts though. Had peanut butter this morning
