Hello Ladies!!

I used to be on here regularly but I've been so busy moving house and planning for baby/wedding and working and I've only just got the internet so have missed out on baby and bump!!

Heres a story for some of you worriers like me. I basically missed my period on 23/01/2012 and didn't test positive till 31/01/2012 and it was a verrrryy faint line barely there!! At around 8 weeks I had bad cramping and went to the EPU and they did a scan that put me back to 5 weeks and I panicked fearing the worst.

We went for a private scan 3 weeks later (thats where the picture is from) and I was put foward to 9 weeks 1 day, baby was looking perfect and heard/saw a strong hearbeat.

Today I went for my '12 week scan' expecting the baby to be 10 weeks 4 days and the baby had gained another day, measuring 10 weeks 5 days, could see the heartbeat and it was curled up in the bottom of my womb and then started leaping and bouncing around in there, was so funny!!

Booked in in 2 weeks time for my 12 weeks 5 days scan when I'll have my nuchal and I'lll keep all you guys updated. Im still a big worrier but I've told most people as I'll be 12 weeks in 1 week and 2 days,crazy! I never thought I'd get to 12 weeks!!

Also got a private gender scan booked for 16 weeks and CANNOT Wait for that.

This is just a story to any of you worrying or who have been put back, that there can be good news after....the lady said once you see a baby at 9 weeks with a good heartbeat that the chance of anything going wrong is 1% and it could be at any point so theres no point worrying too much

Thank you! Been so many worrying times but I'm trying just to enjoy it now Although when I got for my 12 weeks 5 day scan I'm sure i'll be panicking lol

Also, anyone worrying about symptoms. All I had was feeling sleepy and sore boobs, then a bit of nausea, then some actual sickness, now hardly anything, I still have sore boobs and am sleepy but the nauseas got so much better. Don't focus too much on symptoms

I know theres a long way to go to make sure my bubs is healthy, fingers and toes all crossed

Your beany looks so cute! I got a scan at 9+4 and got put back to 8+5, baby looked very alien-ish Have my 12 week scan tomorrow! Happy and healthy rest of your pregnancy!

You too! So excited to be 12 weeks in just over a week and then have my 12 week 5 day scan. SO EXCITEDDDD. Only 2 weeks to go. It felt like a lifetime.
