What does "morning" sickness feel like?

I'm about 5 weeks pregnant and started feeling dizzy, woozy, achy, nauseous this afternoon (though haven't vomited yet). I didn't have "morning" sickness during my first pregnancy (ended in miscarriage in October 2011) so not sure what it's supposed to feel like. I woke up this morning with a sore throat and the achyness is similar to what I feel like before I get a cold or flu, so not sure if this is pregnancy-related or if I'm just getting sick. Is that what it's supposed to feel like? Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think it's the same for every woman. I'm sure what you're experiencing is very normal

I don't know how far along I am, but it's between 4-6 weeks likely, and I have most of those symptoms... no vomiting, but nausea. And I don't have aversions to food (at least not yet). It's the smell of metal (weird, I know) and cleaning products that are really making me gag.

^ Wss, "morning sickness" is different for everyone.
With my son, I'd get overwhelmingly nauseous out of NOWHERE.. literally, wouldn't even have time to think before barfing.. and then I'd be fine, like it never happened.
But I know plenty of ladies who just stayed nauseous throughout their pregnancies, never throwing up, and some who never even had an upset stomach! So I don't think there's really a normal or "abnormal" and I'd say what you're feeling is totally fine

My MS feels like my stomach turning, no appetite, wanting to run away from the sight of certain foods and having heartburn symptoms without an acidic taste in my mouth.

I am pretty sure im pregnant and this morning I had my first round of morning sickness, I woke up feeling extremely nauseous.... I couldnt move because I knew I would throw up, I had that feeling where saliva keeps filling your mouth and you know it's just inevitable... Then I just went running for the bathroom... It was horrible.. But I felt so much better and normal afterwards. But that was just me... I'm sure everyone is different, some people don't even get it at all... LUCKY

Good luck

I feel dizzy and woozy. smells of certain things will set it off too and then I will feel really hot and nauseous like I'm going to have to run for the bathroom. My doctor prescribed me zofran for ms and it has helped out a TON. I can now eat food again and keep it down! only sick when i first wake up now until I take my pill.

For me. I can't let myself get hungry. If I'm hungry for a second I have to puek. Even times I ate two hours before. Also if I talk about meat or someone is saying a gross story. I start gagging. Lol

Feels like I came home from the bar, realized I'd drank too much, but am not ready to quite throw up. Just like I'll sit there and feel ill, and then just when I think I may actually throw up this time, it starts to get better. Mine only started 4 days ago, though, so I'm sure it's going to probably get worse...

I agree with sunshine..my ms just sends my stomach turning and that one cough is so dangerous I find myself running and not just running but sprinting to the bathroom. It really does come and go but I noticed that if it leaves me alone for even two hours it comes back with total avengence and so does my dinner or whatever else I ate earlier.
