UTI and YEAST INFECTION!! Ughh :(

I realized I had a yeast infection last night (never had one before in my life!! Looked it up online and sure enough that's what it was) so I called the dr early this morning, on call nurse said to get certain meds to treat it, okay i can do that. Then i just now got a phone call from drs nurse and she said they got the results from my urine test at my appt on Wed and that I have a UTI so they are prescribing me some meds for that too

UGHH i just want to cry!!!

Oh dear, that's not nice! I've got a yeast infection at the moment too, due to anti-biotics i had a few weeks ago. I would get the doc to get you more meds for the yeast infection if they have given you anti-bbiotics for the UTI because the yeast infection will probably come back after the anti-biotics.

That's what I thought too but my pharmacist who I trust with my life (it's my mom-she's a pharmacist) says it probably shouldn't come back with the antibiotic they gave me. What are you talking for your YI? The nurse on call said Monistat 7 but mom said its a class c as far as meds during pregnancy :/

That must be hard to accept that truth.
May I know what symptoms you are getting concerning the yeast infection? I read on greatskintoday that there are several symptoms, and also there are some methods to cure it permanently.
