Chances of epu referal same day?

I got my bfp on Friday, have been bleeding on and off for past 5 weeks so am a nervous wreck as to what's going on in there. I am guessing I'm around 7 weeks preg, but really not sure as thought I had a period only 2 weeks ago so now don't know what periods have been true. I have a doctors appointment this morning, has anyone had a referal to the epu on the same day? I had bleeding before in my last pregnancy but can't remember at all how quick I was referred or how long I had to wait for a early scan.

I hate not knowing what's happening

When I went to my booking scan - the MW sent me straight up to the EPU that day to be squeezed in. Nothing from docs though!

I got sent to EPU from my GP, straight away! I was ready to really have to fight my corner but my GP (male) is brilliant and so sympathetic unlike the female nurse practitioner strangely, and I got scanned and then admitted for fluids etc but all was fine.. You def should be seen same day - that's the point of the EPU!
Try to stay calm, lots of luck xx

I was seen by my GP because of spotting and a bit of bleeding at around 4pm on a Monday, but my appointment with the EPU wasn't until Thursday morning.

Most of you ladies are really lucky! When I had to go to epau twice with DD2 when I had heavy bleeding I had to wait almost a week both times! I guess it just depends on how busy your particular hospital is. Our's is very busy. xx
