Went to the Emergency room. :(

So my first scan is supposed to be tomorrow. For the past 3 days i have been having pains on the right side of my body. It started on my upper thigh, then went to my upper abdomen then settling in my lower abdomen. I figured it was just stretching pains. The pains got stronger, feeling like a stabbing, i still ignored it. It then moved up to my shoulder, and i read that is a serious sign of ectopic pregnancy, and thats when i immediately went to the emergency room this morning. IT IS NOT ECTOPIC!

i heard my baby's heartbeat at 149 bpm and he/she is measuring at 7 weeks 3 days. All is well! They did a transvaginal ultrasound and she had a hard time finding my right ovary, she said it looked twisted.. whatever that means. The doctor didnt mention it when we talked, so i guess it turned out okay.
But i go in for my regular appointment tomorrow and this time i get to actually look at the screen and see my baby and get a scan pic! SO excited!!

Thanks you guys.
i have seriously learned my lesson. i am not going to let google freak me out anymore.
now that ive heard the heartbeat, i can seriously relax.. well.. just a little.
they told me to take some tylenol and dont come back lol. guess ill take that advice cause whatever this pain is, is annoying.

Hey, glad everything is ok for you! I think we're all sort of entitled to random ER visits, especially when some docs wont let you come in before 10+ weeks! How nuts! I went in to the ER room last thursday i was so paranoid, everything was fine, of course

At least you can rest easy till the next appointment

Oh thank the lord! Im so glad for you! As much as the internet helps it does freak out pregnant woman i have learned. My husband has a strict no no rule for me with looking at WebMd!
