Argh, NO WAY!

My husband would show me up big style. He's always so pragmatic and just gets on with things no matter what.

He got up at 4:30 this morning to fly to Belfast for work...with a stinking cold.

If he was pregnant he'd put me to shame coz I find any excuse going not to do the jobs I should be doing (achem, like the sweeping and mopping of floors I'm meant to be doing right now )

I keep telling my husband that next month is his turn to have a go of being pregnant but he is having none of it. He'd never take a turn at periods either.

This thread made me smile I sometimes feel like my husband thinks I'm exaggerating my nausea and general sickness. But... we are at his Navy training right now and living on base at the hotel so.. we have a maid and we eat out a lot so it's not like I'm doing it to get out of cleaning. I seriously thought once I was pregnant (he's pretty chivalrous to begin with) that he'd really be doting on me, but he hasn't done it once!!! LOL, I'm not really expecting it or offended by any means, but the other day he told me that the baby is so small so how am I feeling so sick? He is truly completely clueless on women, which is weird because his sister was SO SICK throughout her entire pregnancies and it seems like his mind is blown because I feel sick all the time.

He'd probably kill me for posting this, but my husband up until about 2 years ago thought women sit on the toilet when going to the bathroom because they pee out of their butt. WHAT!!!!!!!!! It is still an ongoing joke with us. He is seriously so clueless on women's issues, LOL

This thread is so funny, gotta love men! My DH complains about having to walk the dog once every couple days. The dog gets walked 3 times a day, who does he think does all the other walks!?

Me: Why do you keep looking at me?

Husband: I love having a pregnant wife.

Me: I wish men could get pregnant.

Husband: If I was pregnant, I wouldn't get sick!

I really wish we could have a "Freaky Friday" moment and my husband wake up pregnant and nauseated. Anyone else want a pregnant husband?

My husband has been pregnant with me the whole time. He doesn't sleep, has to pee all the time, his back hurts, his body hurts, he has way more cravings that me and he can't remember shit. Worst pregnancy brain ever. The only difference is when I literally can't go any more, and am exhausted I have to lay down, rest, sleep, or I feel horriable and ill. He can push through that because, oh yeah hes not building a little human! He def doesn't understand to the fullest how hard it is. But I tell him like it is, even if I'm mean and nasty about it, because I don't feel good, or I'm tired and need to rest and I dont have if we have something to do it can wait!

You're 6 weeks, so I'd point out that even though the baby is only pea sized right now, your normally plum sized uterus is nearly the size of a grapefruit. There is a lot going on already.

The worst thing about this for me is that my husband's sister is 6.5 months pregnant with twins and, I have to admit, the most uncomfortable I have ever seen a human being look. But when I'm feeling sick or painfully bloated, my husband comparing my discomfort to his sister's worse discomfort does not help!

That would annoy the hell out of me. My grandma told me that she never had morning sickness with any of her pregnancies, and my mom and uncle are twins. Just because a person is pregnant with twins doesnt make them more miserable than someone with a singleton!
