7 Weeks and putting on weight

Hi Everyone.

I am 7 Weeks 5 days pregnant and am already struggling to fit in my normal clothes. I have already bought some 'bigger' items but Im worried that at this rate I will end up spending a fourtune on clothes.

Is anyone else putting weight on this early, and does anyone have any tips on how to avoid spending a small fortune on clothes? I have heard about B-bands? Are these any good?

Thanks All

My first pregnancy i put almost 10lbs on in 12 weeks even with bad morning sickness. When i started feeling my jeans tight i wore a lot of yoga pants and jogging pants. I also wore a lot of my oh clothes to cut the cost of constantly buying new clothes. I also have a belly band (i got mine on ebay for 15$) and i used it more post pregnancy rather then during but i do like it.
Im not sure if ur from the US but kohls and reasonably priced maternity clothes.

I loved my belly band! It was way cheaper than buying all new pants and I also liked the support it gave me.

Belly bands are like an extender for your pants so that if your thighs/legs still fit in your pants, you can just extend the waist a bit.

Thanks All.

I have been wearing jogging bottoms and PJs when at home, but unfortunately my work requires me to dress smart and I am finding all my current clothes tight and uncomfortable

Ebay is a good option - Thanks for the advice

I have been checking my weight daily because my morning sickness has been really bad and I am hardly getting anything to eat and I was worried about loosing weight and I have gained 1 1/2 pounds. I know it doesn't sound like much but I have been exactly 107.5 for the last 2 weeks everytime I weigh and today it just jumped up. I browse motherhood maternity a lot because if you catch a good sale you can get a great deal. Since I don't really need them yet I just order something if i like it and it is cheap. I got three shirts and a pair of pants for $35 last week.

I am 6 weeks, 5 days and I have gained 5.5 pounds already and my work pants are fitting snug! I wondered why I was putting weight on so early and if it was only me. I am going to have to check into the belly band; with my son, I didn't gain weight till I was four months along and even then it wasn't much.
