Extremely high beta hcg

Hi I am 5w6d pregnant. And I had some really high betas. I am getting nurvous that it may be molar.

Beta #1 5w1d 22dpo 13,443
Beta #2 5w4d 25dpo 57,080
Beta #3 5w6d 27dpo 83,910

I am 8 times higher than the charts say for 5 weeks!

I am nurvous that is it going to turn out to be molar.
Anyone have calming thoughts please??

Not sure this is calming but high numbers can also indicate multiples!

Sounds like an ultrasound is needed soon.. when I was pregnant with twins my HCG levels were on the lower side only at 2500 at 5 weeks...

My levels were very high, similar to yours and I too worried about molar BUT the scan showed just the one developing bub. I think they are just really wide ranging. I have heard, and am hoping! that high levels are consistant with a Girl what I can't figure out is why I have no morning sickness when that is meant to be connected to hcg...do you suffer with Ms? X

It could be multiples or it could be a girl. My levels are doubling almost everyday so they are quite high as well. I wouldn't worry about a molar, they are extremely rare and the average of hcg betas vary dramatically. You're just on the "higher end" of normal. I'm getting my results back from yesterday (23dpo) pretty soon and I will update my sig and journal when I find out what they are. Are you getting an ultrasound anytime soon? Mines in 10 days and I'm so excited! Congratulations btw x

Thanks, I am always on the higher end of normal. I have 4 girls and 1 boy. But have never been 8 times higher than normal. I guess we will wait and see! Twins are more likely than molar anyways!

Is there a chance you ovulated a bit earlier than you thought? x

Seems like the doubling time is slowing down now, which is normal when they get that high x
