Twins or not? Can anyone give me some advice plz

Hi I'm currently 6 weeks pregnant with baby no 4 I have been getting lots ov pains so have had 2 early scans the first one at around 4 weeks showed one sack with no yolk inside so I had to go back the following week or so where I got another scan and there is now 2 sacks the one on the right is black with the baby's heart beating inside!!! But the sack on the left was slightly grey and the nurse said she cudnt see a yolk sack and it cud possibly be a blood sack! I am totally confused as to what's happening and I have to wait another week before I get another scan has this happened to anyone else before any feedback wud be greatly appreciated ....Nicola. 30 England.

I've never experienced this myself but after reading many many posts on here I have seen other's who are expecting twins experience a similar thing to yourself where one sack was empty but later developed into a baby. I know it is also more common to have twins with subsequent pregnancies and the older that you get.

GL and FX for your next scan!
