Anyone else received their 12 week scan early? - Page 2

My ob does their rutine scans at 8, 18-20 and 30 weeks so I already had my first. However I will be getting a 12 week scan to check up on a subchorionic hemorrhage this monday. Seems like I have been waiting forever! And its finally so close! Hope things work out for you.

Also going to a 3d/4d clinic at 16 weeks to find out the gender early

I had my scan at 11wk 5d and it was amazing! I know what you mean because i always had the magic number 12 in my head too but it was great and we told everyone after our scan too which made it more real! x

I had mine yesterday and by dates I should have been 11 + 3 I was 10 + 5, They don't have to see my again could see baby made sure there was just one, measured and to see if there's heartbeat

Thanks guys - I think I'm just going to go and see - hopefully as you say if there is a problem they will see it then - I might express my concern thou and see what they say! I suppose worse case scenario I can pay for a private one later on if I get that nervous!!

This pregnancy lark is so stressful!!

I am in exactly the same boat! I am a day ahead of you, and I have my scan the day before yours making me 11+3 too. I'm almost sure my dates are going to be put back though due to irreular periods, but I shall soon find out. I am not too worried about 4days early, the baby wouldn't grow much more in those days anyways x

Last time mine was 10+3, which turned out to be 10+5. Not sure why it was early. This time it's spot on 12 weeks.
The first scan can be any time between 10 and 14 weeks as that's the best window for them to date the pregnancy in which is the point of the scan, from their point of view at least.

I wish I was getting mine early my first app isn't until 25th April I will be 15+1 I wasn't happy so booked a private on mothers day loved it, just gotta wait for that one now wish would hurry up xx

I had mine today at only 10 + 5 and it was amazing

I had been unsure if we'd see much but could clearly see baby, 1 thankfully

, and see it moving it hands and legs and it's little heartbeat flickering away. Measured at 10 + 4 but midwife said no need to change due date.

We're delighted now and it was a lovely experience even though I was initially concerned that it was early
