When did your tummy start to stick out but not properly 'show' & weight gain in 1st??
Sorry if my thread title didn't make much sense!
I am just over 12 weeks, and I have suffered a lot with bloating throughout this pregnancy but clothes all still fit fine etc. Bloating seems to have gone down a bit in the last few days as i've managed to get my digestive system working a bit better (sorry for TMI), but I seem to have a little pot belly now! Not noticeable to others but noticeable to me when I am naked (sorry) and tummy all of a sudden doesn't 'sink in' when I lie down like it usually does.
I'm just curious as to what changes all you other ladies have noticed to your bodies in first trimester?
Also, has anyone gained any weight so far? I have not gained anything as yet which I am quite suprised at as I have been eating more (not loads) and feel a bit podgy!!
Last week I couldn't fit into most of my regular work pants (tailored trousers) but I could still get into jeans and stretchy pants. Now my jeans aren't very comfy either, so I'm buying maternity clothes today!
I can see a bit of a popped stomach and it's much harder than it used to be! I guess I'll be showing soon.
That said, when I'm bloated I feel like I look HUGE; when I'm not so bloated I've only gained 3-4 pounds, which is ok.
So i definately have bloating now and then, but it has gotten less frequent now that im into the second trimester... but i have reallly started popping out just recently! its kinda amazing to me... and I am now 18 wks...
I'll be 12 weeks tomorrow, and I've also noticed more of a belly. I have gained a bit of weight as well, which I'm not that happy about as I was overweight to begin with, but ah well. I'm eating sensibly, and not eating more than I did pre-pregnancy except for eating breakfast when I used to skip it, and I'm exercising more than I used to, so I'm doing my part.
I had some bloating early on then around 11 weeks spud had already moved up out of the pelvis and by 12 to 13 weeks I had a defiant bump which is now growing really fast and Im loving it. I have put on weight but I only ever eat one meal a day if I felt like that and now eat 3 full meals and snacks in between, Im really not bothered about gaining weight though as long as spud is healthy. Everyone is different, try not to worry too much, take care XX
