Excersice and eat healthy


I was doing this month excersice and eating very healthy and did 10days diet. and guess what? got pregant! hhaha i wanted get pregnant sobadly this month and just when i thought no lets lose weight first ..igot what i wanted in first place its such a blessing.....

Anyways..iam still excersicing and doing cardio's and eating healthy just to lose a bit weight ..im trying getting ready for the last couple months so it would be easier for me ..
Iam 20 kg overweight and this weight is killing me ..icant walk properly ..my calf are hurting me and if i press them its like i have bruises there but there isn't..
I was doing the last 3weeks really good and i thought i lost weight 4,5 kilo and i was starting to walk normal but the past 2days i stopped and now i feel the pain again?!?!
iam back at 70 kilo? idont know ithink maybe it was my scale who was messed up in the first place! orrr i really really gained that quickly!

i wanna know are there more girls who are losing weight ..by getting ready for the last month (like 7,8,9 month)

If you're eating well and exercising, that is very good.

It sounds like the number on the scale stresses you out. Maybe put the scale away and just focus on living healthy. Pregnancy is not a good time to try to lose weight.

Same happened to me. I joined WW and within 2 wks of joining, I conceived! Managed to lose 8lbs and put that back on already. Maybe more but too scared to look! Really want to try and reign in my eating but I'm struggling... I just crave stodgy foods! Now weather is gettin better I'm hoping to drag my boys out walkin with me... Hope that helps!

Wouldn't go too mad with the cardio. Especially if it's not something uve done long term. Gentle exercise will be fine tho. And I wouldn't bother weighing... The only way is up when pregnant! Just maybe take ur inches from legs, arms.. Etc. not waist obviously! If ur eating healthy and exercising u r much more likely to see inch loss rather than weight loss becoz muscle weighs more! I think it's time to stop looking at your scales.

Concentrate on being healthy, eating right and gentle exercise is fine and will help you tone up.

My last pregnancy I was doing an hour a day in the gym right up til 38 weeks, I'd just walk or take it very easy on cross trainer or swim, kept my heart rate below 140 and didn't get out of breath.

Do you obsess about weight gain ?


I think it comes from having an obsession with my weight in the past my pre pregnancy weight was 120 pounds I am now 124 I find my self obsessing not to go over 5 pound gain in first trimester because all the books tell u the average weight gain is 3-5 pounds . I love my little bean and am eating healthily I just need to work away this obsession maybe I should get rid of scales ?

thanks girls for replying! .. i know the scale is driving me mad!
but i told myself now not to weigh but every 1 week once or 2!! i am excersicing! eating healthy drinking lots of water!
They say its selfish to wanting lose weight first trimester ..without upsetting someone i dont see any problems ,the baby is still little and if you walk alot and do cardio and make sure your drinking during workout ..i dont see any problems!
my first pregnancy i didnt workout at all! and end up c-section but it had to do with many reasons! but still maybe if i did walk alot and bit excersice things wouldve been different!
but i didnt had any problems with my weight (the first pregnancy)
