Yupp, I gave up my jeans about a week ago.

I haven't bought actual maternity clothes, but I now wear dresses, loose cotton skirts, or jean shorts that have always been a size too big.

I thought I was getting big quick, but then I changed my diet and it went away, I think I was bloated. Your pregnant stomach canīt cope with some of the foods it might have been fine with before. Wheat and cereals are hard to digest and I found by almost cutting them out I went back to my normal size. Nine weeks and bubs is still way down low but if your a bit short of body like me then even so there isnīt much room when everything gets pushed up, donīt be sad celebrate!! This is your wonderful baby growing not fat!

Yeah I had to get some maternity jeans weeks ago, despite the fact I've lost 6lbs.

I don't think there is anything to worry about. My friend was wearing maternity trousers for work by 9 weeks, and i think i will be going down the same round. where the bloating is, is where our trousers sit at work and for me there was never much room to give before

I had to sort out my wardrobe by about 5 or 6 weeks, anything fitted is in storage! Now living in stretchy leggings and my maternity jeans. I bought them last week because it's been a month since I could wear my normal ones. For work I have two pairs of size 12 trousers I rotate (was size 10 pre pregnancy). I probably could have gotten away with size 12 jeans, but the maternity ones were in the sale (Ģ20) and I figured I would only have to buy some later on anyway!

I've been using rubber bands and hair ties to "expand" my pants because I can't zip or button any of them except my "fat jeans" from when I was 15 and over 200 lbs!!

I remember a couple weeks ago I could fit into everything!! Sheesh...my abdomen is all rock hard at the bottom. Not that I'm complaining because the nurse said it was a good thing!

Luckily for me, I've got a few sundresses I bought last year that are stretchy enough that I can wear them up until winter if I have to!! Not to mention there are some more on sale for $10- totally going to get like 5 more when I get paid Thursday.

I'm only 5 weeks but I do get the occasional bloat that makes me look chunky! I was planning on buying a 'belly band' they allow you to wear your jeans a bit longer (unbuttoned!). My friend bought a few when she was pregnant and also wore it through the bloat days. I think you can get them from amazon.
