HEARTBEAT found :-) After brown bleeding !!! So pleased

SO RELIEVED !!!

Just been for an early scan as had been having brown cm / slight brown bleed since Saturday...

Saw the sac and the heartbeat!!!! Everything in the right place and no bleeding inside so it must have just been old implantation bleed working it's way out.

Cried my eyes out with relief when I saw our little tiny dot's heart beat.

Measured 5-6weeks which is fine as I'm only 6wk 1 day on my dates.

So so so pleased.

Good luck to the other ladies having scans after bleeding / spotting

thats brilliant news. i had brown discharge then abit of pink on sunday but now its stopped i didnt have cramps or anything. i have a scan on thursday i will be 5wk 5days so i hoping i see sumthing and maybe a heartbeat xx

Did they just get you in and scan as soon as you got there? I'm still bleeding this morning and am willing the next two hours to pass so we can get some answers.

CherryTom -- No .. I had to wait about 30 mins or so first ? Had to see a nurse first and answer questions on a form - just general health, any previous pregnancies, last period, and whats been happening etc.. And did a blood pressure and a urine sample.

The nurse wasnt very reasssuring at first -- she said that they might not see anything with it just being 6weeks.

Then had another 10 min wait or so, then had to go in and take my trousers off and get on the bed in position then was waiting 5 mins or so and the scanner lady came in.

It only took 5 mins the scan, but felt like a life time. I was just staring at the ceiling with my fabulous fiance holding my hand ..until she said "Yep there is the heartbeat" and then I just burst in to tears.

Then she spun the screen round and showed us.

Then i got dressed and they did paper work and then I was free to go. Took 45 mins in total.

I was up since 4am and was being sick all morning with worry, couldnt keep anything down --- am fine now and just scoffed two croissants and a banana !
