I know its possible, and I will cope, but thinking back to the early days with Alfie, oh my god!! it was hard work. Im wondering whether to breast feed again, or just use bottles, so my husband can share the feeds. I loved breast feeding tho! What are you thinking of doing?
I'm the same as you hun
I breastfed with mason and loved it but it is very demanding and I don't know if I'd cope doing it again
Sounds so selfish I know I will defo do it for the first week though

This baby was planned but we also didn't expect to conceive so quick (first month off the pill!) It took us 2 year to conceive our daughter with 2 mc's in between so we thought it would take at least 6 months this time lol.

A friend of mine got pregnant with twins when her LO was only 2 months old and although she's found it hard she copes - I guess it helps that all 3 of them STTN. My LO doesn't yet. x

hi think I'm going to join you lovely ladies as nice to go through it with people in the same boat.
Just found out we're pregnant with no 2- due december 14th. Will be a 16 month age gap. We wanted a small age gap and didn't want another baby so late in the school year so were ttc but still a shock!! over the moon though.

Ds is crawling and just started cruising around so fingers crossed will continue like this and walk before the new baby comes!! Do worry how I'll cope with carrying him round whilst pregnant esp the heavier he gets and risk of mc etc but guess other people manage so we will too

Went back to work in march and not planning to tell them till I really have to so hoping what they say about the 2nd showing earlier not true! think i'll get a lot of comments behind my back at work esp since I'm in profession where career comes first to most people and I'm sure out of work will be the same so better start to grow and think skin and ignore them-water off a ducks back and all that

I'll join you! Our daughter will be 19 months when the new baby arrives. I'm worried about how she will cope but I wanted them to be close together.

I too had a friend who had her children only 12 months apart and already had a 4 year old and she coped and she's younger than me so if she can do it so can I!

My Auntie also had 4 children in 6 years and they really struggled financially but they coped too, so I'm taking inspiration from those around me!

My DD2 will be 15-16 months when this baby is born. We didnt expect that we would start trying so soon. We thought we would wait until DD2 was 18 months old before trying like we did with DD1, but DD2 has such an amazing temperament and I found it alot easier second time round that we thought we would try for our last child earlier than originally planned, and it happened first time lol. Im really glad that all our children will be fairly close in age (only 3.5 year age gap between my oldest and youngest) and when the new baby is here our family will be complete and we can really start planning our future as a whole. xx
