Massive boobs already??

I have always been a 34B and not a full B at that. Well at 5 weeks i had to get a new bra because i was already a C and it fitted nicely. Well this week now my boobs have grown again and are starting to spill out of my C cup bra. Its not uncomfortable but i just can't get over how much they've grown already!! I've got a bit of time yet until i need another bra but am i the only one who got massive boobs early on??

Also i've heard that you shouldn't wear underwire bra's but i'm just wondering why? I'm still wearing underwire bra and my boobs are absoloutly fine xxx

Getting a bra without underwire is a comfort thing I think. I am 8 weeks and I've just started noticing my boobs getting slightly larger but I am starting out with a full 32D so maybe they won't grow too much.

I've been wearing sports bras because I have scoliosis and regular bras cut into my skin where my back is all wonky. Usually if I wear a sports bra it makes me look pretty flat (I'm a 34B) but I think I've def. grown because I do NOT look flat anymore in a sports bra, lol. I'm only 7 weeks!

In my first two weeks since finding out we were expecting I have gone from a 34B to being measured for a 32E.......the change has been alarming!!

luce, if you were in a 34B and you're down to a 32 band that means that the 34B was likely wrong for you unless you've been losing weight since the pregnancy. You were probably a 32C. People tend to end up in 34s when they are really a 32 since 32s are harder to find.

I went from a 32C -> 34D at 6 weeks. Right now it's nice and snug, but I'm still sticking it out in here for the time being. I hope they don't grow too fast because bras are not cheap! I'm still in underwire. I asked the woman at the maternity store and she said until birth underwire is fine unless you are uncomfortable. Apparently right after birth the milk starts flowing so the wire can clog ducts.

Mine had grown 2 cup sizes by about 7 weeks...and in the past week or two a third size. I think it's normal for there to be substantial growth in the first trimester.

My understanding is that the thing about underwire bras is 1) comfort and 2) if the bra fits incorrectly such that the wire sits on breast tissue rather than your ribcage, it can damage milk ducts. Personally, I am still wearing underwires because they provide much more support.

I have always had a small chest but I'm 4 weeks and my boobs are HUGE already! It's weird to feel them bouncing around all the time. I'm barely a b cup so it's definitely a change. New bras will probably be needed in a couple of weeks at this rate. Totally normal though!
