help! missed miscarriage

Hi all my friend has just found out she has had a missed miscarriage. I'm nervous enough with this pregnancy but now she's told me about this and told me she had no symptoms I'm even more scared. Has anyone had a missed mc? Do you have any symptoms and how common is it? X

Cath don't worry about it. I went through similar last week and it stressed me out. You run the danger of over analysing every symptom otherwise. If you are worried call your doctor, otherwise try and relax and enjoy your pregnancy.... Xx

I had a MMC and didn't have many symptoms but I know other people who have had MMC and have had every symptom going. Symptoms really aren't a sign of how well a pregnancy is going. With this baby, I had mild symptoms but not until I was about 8 weeks so. I'm sure everything will be fine. It said in the notes I was given by my doctor that only about 3% of women who go for their 12 week scan will find out they've had a MMC. It's so hard not to worry and the first 12 weeks seem to take forever but I'm sure you'll be absolutely fine x

MMC are not very common, with mine I had symptons I was pregnant and was nearly 12 weeks before I found out the baby had gone any where between 7 and 11 weeks...

Try not to worry about things, its natural to worry but focus on being happy and positive!

Try to stay positive, its actually quite rare - just try to keep thinking to yourself more women have a normal healthy pregnancy than mc or get a mmc. I know its virtually impossible to avoid from time to time, but constantly stressing out all the time wont do you any good and unfortunately nothing can stop these things happening if they are going to happen, its just very unlucky and unfortunate. Thinking goo dthoughts for you x
