I called up NHS Direct on Tuesday evening and was told it was nothing to worry about it and it should subside. This morning following a visit to the loo I noticed my tissue had slightly redder blood along with CM (sorry TMI). This started to stress me out so I called my GP. I was told to go to my local Early Pregnancy Unit (EPU) who will check me.

After sitting for 1.5hour waiting for a nurse/midwife to turn up I was then told that they don't where she is and that I should go to A&E. In A&E I was seen by a doctor who tried to put me at ease but wasn't able to get me an early scan with the EPU until Wednesday 11th.

I am now totally beside myself as I just want to know what is happening. I've got no other concerning symptoms other than the bleed so I am trying to remain positive but I can't help thinking the worse.

Go to the ER and tell them you are spotting and your pregnant....they will treat it like a life threating emergancy and take you right back....give you an ultrasound and everything....My first pregnancy I spotted a little pink blood and it freaked me out so I went right to the er....they showed me my now baby girls heartbeat and told me everything was fine...
It was to ER that I went this afternoon. They had a US machine but because I was only max 7 weeks the doc said they would have to internally scan me. Unfortunately they didn't have the machine for that.
