Im back at work tomorrow depending who im in with ill ask. If you have a handbook it might be worth having a look in there. I would be complaining too if i was cold.

ask to move to a different till, where i work they roate ppl so im never at the same till, but there is one thats really cold and the worst is near the bathroom and cusomers take craps and it reeks 'hello morning sickness!'

Thanks for all the replies, I'm never on the same till either and tbh it makes no difference really. You're cold no matter where you sit. I found out today that the heating 'can't be fixed' apparently. Pretty rediculous if you ask me as its us out the front who have to suffer. The people who work out back in the offices and stuff just don't take us seriously when we say how cold it is. But it doesn't look like anything is gonna be done about it any time soon. A lot of us are getting pretty sick of being cold all the time, and it's not like we don't layer up either. Roll on July when I can disappear onto maternity leave lol.
