It can annoy me sometimes but I soon get over it n move on to so thing else I'd like to eat, which then usually evolves hubby going to the shop so I look as it as a tree Thor all the running around he's doing
When I was pregnant with Sophie we did have a drinking ban in the last month incase he needed to drive anywhere, which he took to quickly but I guess he thought he better not argue with a 8months pregant ratty woman lol, I think I it's annoying you may be you could come to some sort of agreement eg he only drinks on weekends or eats the foods you cant while your not there?!?!?
Xxx

I don't really mind what he eats. Unless in the future it's something I'm craving and can't eat. That would bug me.

It would also annoy me if he went on a load of benders... Not that I'm a fan of drinking and miss it or anything because even before I was pregnant it was once in a blue moon I'd have a drink.. But because I think it would be disrespectful his smoking really annoys me though it makes me feel ill

Im of the opinion that its me thats preggers and why should he have to do without just because I have to. At least one of should be able to have fun! p.s I eat home made mayo, runny eggs, rare meat etc anyway so its only alcohol I have to do without. Obviously, you can have coffee too providing its not more than 200mg a day. x

I can understand how you feel. I do think some stuff should be off limits.
I guess I'm a little lucky...My OH doesn't drink or do nights out. He's in with me all the time.

I dont mind what my hubby does :-) Hes shouldn't have to stop having a beer because I am pregnant. And I am still allowed to drink coffee/eat eggs/mayo. Pretty much the only thing my doc told me not to do was drink alcohol & eat sushi. ....Im not a big drinker anyways!

I with the rest of the ladies. Just because I am pregnant doesn't mean hubby has to change his lifestyle too. That isn't fair! We went out with friends last night to TGIFriday's and he had 2 pints of beer and my friends drank too. I didn't mind. I was just glad to be out and socializing. My hubby is also great with calling it quits early with me. I can no longer stay out past 9 or 10 o'clock because I get so exhausted.

I actually encourage hubby to eat what he wants. He is so supportive too and asks if the smell bothers me, he will eat else where. The way I look at it, I am very lucky to be in the position I am in-expecting. A few sacrifices here and there are worth it in the end without having hubby have to suffer too.

Runny eggs are on the banned list because of the risk of salmonella poisoning. However, I believe in moderation! We aren't supposed to eat deli meat either and one day I just indulged in a bologna and cheese sandwich and enjoyed every bit! I even had ham and cheese at Panera one time too. That has been it though and I am fine. I think as long as you don't over do it, because the risk still exists, you will be fine.

I don't take the chance with anything not recommended; Runny eggs, cheeses etc. I've had a loss and I can't go through that again. If I lost another one I'd know I've done everything I could to keep it. I couldn't live with the guilt if there was a slight possibility it was my fault.
