For me I wouldn't mind if it wasn't often, but if it was once a week or more it might bug me a bit. My OH doesnt drink much really, maybe once a month, so Im not going to take that away from him. And neither of us are coffee drinkers lol so thats no issue either.

I think you need to put it down to your hormones and not splurge it out over him!

There is a reason a blummin good reason why we are not drinking, eating yummy french cheeses or runny eggs. We are doing it to give the precious life inside us the very best chance we can. And that is the reason we can make the sacrifice.

The dads to be have no such reason do they? It makes no difference to the baby if they drink coffee, or beer - so what exactly is the reason for them not to?

I think it would be pretty selfish of us to expect them to give up all the fun things just because we can't do them!

Look at this from another perspective: If your OH gets a nasty stomach bug and can't keep anything down, would you stop eating too? Would you only sip plain water alongside him because he couldn't have anything more exciting?
I know I wouldn't

Haha i am quite lucky with my OH as he is generally very good. Neither of us smoke or drink.
When we were thinking about TTC I told him that he needed to shape up his diet a little and stop drinking coffee. 3 days later I found out unexpectedley that I was pregnant. So he is now walking around like the big man haha.
