Dating scan on 12th April, anyone else? - Page 8

glad you all had great scans! Soooooo nervous and excited for mine tomorrow! Did you get told to have a full bladder for the scan? x

For mine tomorrow I have been requested 'not to use the toilet prior to the scan'

Not sure how that will work as my appointments 4 o'clock!

But seriously, I will wait till I get to the hospital and down a bottle of water, my bladder should fill up pretty quick. Don't want to drink loads and then need a wee while we're in the car!

My letter said I didn't need to have a full bladder which I thought was odd because I'd only ever heard about ladies needing a wee whilst waiting for their scan! I suppose it can't hurt to have a full one!

Mine said drink 1.5 pints water an hour before and don't go to the toilet in that hour

my scan went well to twins are great dated at 10 weeks 3 days due date november 5th

didnt get a picture today as ive gotta go back for another scan in 2 weeks so they can do the routine NT scan so thourt id just by a picture then rather than spending 6 pound today and in 2 weeks lol .

they looked great thou wiggling away bless um

was up ther 6 hours waiting about in diffrent sections to be seen by all the diffrent midwifes im so tired now i want to go bed lol xx

glad every1 had gr8 scanx

My scan went well too! So relieved!!! Very active little one dated 12 wks 3 days. Due
22 Oct. Best part of my day was telling my 6 year old daughter who burst into tears of happiness and has been an angel since. Phew!!!
Good luck to everyone for scans. Can't wait until the next!!!

My scan went perfectly. Measuring spot on at 12+2. Baby was being stubborn and wouldn't move so I had to go for a half hour walk to get him/her to budge lol.

Wow, congrats to all you ladies with your beautiful scans!!

My scan today went very well too. My risk of Downs and Trisomy 18/13 is as if I was 20 years old! That was very comforting to hear. I am supposed to be 12+2 but they put me to 12+5. So baby is growing at a good pace. It was so amazing to see him/her squirming around, kicking the feet, moving the arms, etc!!
