Anybody due with #2 in December?

Hi Everyone!
My name is Jessika and I am finally pregnant with #2 after 15 months of trying! DF and I are excited but very cautious since I am only a little over 4 weeks. I will be calling OBs tomorrow to book an appt. Anybody else due in December with #2 who would like to chat? I'd love to hear your symptoms and what you expect in this pregnancy!

Hi! My name is Sarah and I am due with my 2nd (hopefully) on dec 16. My daughter will be 4 a few weeks after baby arrives. We have also been trying about a year and a half. I know what you mean about being cautious! I spent a few days very nervous, but just resolved to embrace this all the way. So far, I don't have many symptoms. I have the metal taste in mouth and am sensitive to smells. Very mild nausea. The only thing that really scares me is the cramping. When I cough or roll over too fast I get a sharp pain for a few seconds. Sounds like round ligament pain, but it is so early.... Maybe because this is my third pregnancy?? It really worries me, though.

Do you have any symptoms yet?

Hi Sarah!
Yeah I'm being cautious because of our daughter. She is handicapped and we went through hell with the pregnancy so who knows what can happen this time. All her doctors say it was a fluke and it would be rare to ever happen again but I would rather be cautious. I'm having a lot of cramping too! I swore AF was going to show and nothing. No symptoms other than that. I've had no nausea except after eating bacon this morning it upset me a bit. My cramping is usually a lot in the evening and pains from time time during the day. My BBs are KILLING me. They have gotten bigger...maybe another cup size. I just bought cute bras 2 months ago and they don't even fit me anymore, lol. Have you gone to the OB yet?

I've been seeing a reproductive endocrinologist. I've had the beta hcg tests (which jumped from 22 to 98 in 46 hours). my hormones also look good. our first scan is at 47 days. if all goes well, he'll probably release me to the OB . have you been yet? I'm considering a midwife this time... not sure. i want medical expertise, but we have a really good midwife practice that all my friends prefer. better personal care.

my sister was born handicapped (dwarfism ). my mom went on to have a healthy boy afterwards.

Wow...all that! That must've been a lot. No I haven't gone to one yet but I will making calls tomorrow once I speak to the insurance companies on who my network providers are. That makes me feel better that your mom had a healthy boy after having your sister. My daughter was born with ACC (Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum) it's best to google it because it's so much lol. I'm trying not to stress but it's hard lol. Hmmm...I have thought about a midwife but I think I am gonna go with a regular ob/hospital. Maybe if we have more I'll think about a midwife. I'd love one right now but with all the stuff I am gonna have to go through it'd probably be better to have a doctor. Well I have a feeling that this pregnancy is going to kick my butt lol. I am only 5 weeks starting tomorrow and today I had heartburn-from drinking plain water. Go figure, lol. I went out and bought a new mattress with DF today...Sealy Memory Foam. The guy said it's good for pregnancy because it will keep you cooler and help you keep your spine inline so we will see!
