first time, advice please?

Hey so I worked out im roughly 4-5 weeks along and made an appointment with my dr, whatsort thing can I expect from him? Im really nervous about not actually being pregnant etc

I am only 9 weeks along with my first. I had my first appointment and will tell you what happened when I went! I went to a new OBGYN that I had never been to. I got there and had to fill out all kinds of paper work about family history and whatnot. Then they took be back weighed me took my blood pressure and all that fun stuff. Then we went to the Dr. actually office to meet with him...since we had never met him before. I asked him all my questions and got answers! I then had a pap (same as a regular one) and then did some blood work and gave a urine sample. They also had an opening for an ultrasound so we got to do that as well! It took us almost 2 hours with everything, but part of that was the ultrasound and meeting the Dr. since I didn't know him. Hang in there! I hope all goes well...how soon do you get to go in for your appt?

My Advice - Relax. Take each day as it comes.

(Easier said than done i know but stops unnescesary stress)

I saw the doctor today, she gave me more advice on not having it then keeping it.. The prescribed me folic acid and told me to come back in 3 weeks

WHAT? Why shouldn't you? That doesn't seem right to me unless you told her you didn't want it
