At the early pregnancy assessment centre waiting, waiting, and waiting!!!! So sick of waiting yesterday and today. I just want some answers already!!!! Once again I am losing faith in our healthcare system.

Thank you everyone! So it seems like everything is ok. Baby is looking good, heart rate is good, cervix is long even though slightly open so they are not concerned. They think it's because of having a previous birth. They have no idea why I am bleeding and they suggest going back in if it happens again.

They also finally gave me a due date oct 15 so I am 13 + 1

Glad you and baby are ok. I have also heard that the cervix will always be slightly open if you have given birth previously xxx

I had heavy bleeding from about 6 weeks to 11 weeks or so with my first pregnancy. They don't do internal exams here and don't do hCG tests so I wouldn't have a clue about my cervix or levels. A scan showed a little bean with a heartbeat. I now have a healthy little toddler running around. Bleeding can be caused by patches of blood in the uterine lining and isn't necessarily a problem (apart from the stress!!!) Wishing you all the best.
