When did you get BFP after Chemical Pregnancy?

Hey thought you might be the ladies that could best answer my questions

I had a CP in Dec 2011 at almost 5 weeks. I was hopeful to get a BFP the very next cycle because I read that so many others had conceived the very next month. BUT 4 months later still not pregnant.
-Anyone else out there that didn't conceive right away
- if so how long did it take and did you take any supplements (Soy,EPO, baby aspirin)

TIA
hope to join you ladies sooner than later!

I had a chemical pregnancy two months before I got my bfp with my son.
Sorry I dont understand what you mean though about 5 weeks, when did you test after being late? chemicals normaly only happen before your af is due or around that time thats why most dont realise its happend because the egg has fertalised but not implanted.

Hi thanks for responding!
Sorry for not being clear. I got a BFP the day AF was due and started to bleed about 5 days later so I was about 4 weeks 5 days along (almost 5 weeks preg).

I had a chemical pregnancy in May (April cycle) got pregnant again in December (November cycle). We were NTNP until October. We didn't dtd the next cycle as hubs was gone for training.

I took prenatals and folic acid every cycle but when I got my BFP I had cut out caffeine. I don't know if it really helped or not. I think stress was the main issue with us. Hubs job was really intense at the time and had us both on edge.

It took me quite awhile (I had 3).. the two things I did different that cycle was switch from soy isoflavones to Vitex (was supposed to lower prolactin-which it did) and lay mostly on my stomach after we BD'ed (switched stomach to back every minute or so). I had read that 1 in 3 women have a retroverted uterus and it's best to lay on your stomach to help the sperm. Come to find out I do have a retroverted uterus lol.

Wow! Amazing! What are the chances that you decided to try that and actually have a retroverted uterus! I just started soy isoflavones will see what happens Congrats on finally getting your baby and sorry for your losses
