Dopplers actually work!

I bought a cheap angelsounds doppler and thought it wouldnt work after seeing it, but listened to my heartbeat and pulse in my stomach, then clearly heard the babies heartbeat going a lot faster than anything else and beating away.

One of the best sounds in the world! Hard not to listen to it all day but I've only used it for no more than a minute at a time because its apparently bad to use it too much, but, it is incredibly reasuring.

Im still shocked they actually work! Anyone else used one and got good results?

I have a HeartTones doppler. I also try to limit use, I'm trying to be more confident and secure with baby being ok. But wow, when I hear that fast little heartbeat, I want to put the doppler up to my ear and fall asleep to the sounds of my little angel I think I use it every three days on average.

I used one in my last pregnancy too and I loved it. It was such a reassurance tool especially on days that beanie decided he wanted to chill out more than kick at my ribs!

I have been listening to my baby since 9.5 weeks using the angelsounds. I love it but have to confess I use it every day, sometimes twice. I just love to hear him/her. I have counted out the beats (not easy) and its running at 180 BPM which seems fast. Looking forward to my dating scan tomorrow when they can measure the HB accurately x
