Today I'm 10 weeks and I had an appt with the midwives. They were going to do an ultrasound, but then called me to tell me it was unnecessary, they'd check with a doppler. I was skeptic. But, it took her all of 30 seconds to find the heartbeat. I smiled then started giggling. Then she had to find it again. I did the same thing, couldn't stop laughing. I guess I was so happy. She thinks the heartbeat is still somewhere around 165, same as it was before, and says with such a good heartbeat at 10 weeks along this pregnancy has a 97% chance of success.
Great day. Hearing that heartbeat was amazing. It was somehow more real than the ultrasound heartbeat.
