I snapped a quick photo of myself today and simply cannot believe how "bumpy" my abdomen is looking at 11 weeks! The early pregnancy bloat probably still remains, but my uterus is now positioned above my pelvic bone and about a week and a half ago it sort of "popped" out above my pants. My best friend said that it looks like I am carrying a bouncing baby boy! :-)
Because all bodies and pregnancies are different, it would be neat to compare! (Who am I kidding? I just want to know that I am not alone in being this.... um, rotund at this early stage of pregnancy, especially because I have never given birth!!)
Anyone else care to share photos of your new bodacious baby bumps?
I can't post pictures at the moment (using iPad) but my bump (bloat!) looks quite similar to Heather's. My waist is about 30" but if I measure around my belly button I measure 35"! (I was size 10 pre pregnancy) And my uterus came out 2 weeks ago, it is along my jeans line now. A few people have suggested I am carrying twins because of my size (they do run in the family too).
