Bleeding - Sad and Confused

Just had my BFP on Tuesday and started bleeding yesterday. At first I thought it was more implantation bleeding but then it got heavier. It wasnt bright red but quite brown.

I popped along to my doctors this morning who said I am too early pregnant to go to the early pregnancy unit and he feels like I might have lost my bean. He knows we have been seeing a private fertility specialist and he said we cant do anything for you maybe they can!

I am so sad and confused

The doctor didnt do any tests to say im not still pregnant and my fertility specialist is on holiday. Im not sure what to do not except wait and see.

GET TO A&E NOW

he should have sent u there at the beginning! u are not too early to go to the EPAU!!! i was there at just over 3 weeks pregnant!!!

if u go to A&E they will take ur bloods and refer u to the early pregnancy unit themselves.

Just phone NHS 24 or take a trip up to A&E and say ur pregnant but bleeding.

The good news is if its still brown then that idicates its old blood.

Bleeding doesnt always spell the end! but i would get my butt up there now and speak to a proper doctor one that will actually do something for u x

All bleeding isn't necessarily a bad thing. I started bleeding on Monday and like u assumed the worst. Turns out little bean is fine. My blood was a pinkish red and now is turning brown. Dr. Told me if I see clots then its pribabally going to turn into a mc. But I agree go to a&e

When you say bleeding is it flowing or is it only there when you wipe?

I had brown blood / cm when I wiped from 5wk+4 and all through week since.. only really stopped at the start of week 7.

I panicked of course and got referred to the EPU for a scan at 6+2 and heart beat was there and all was fine..

And yesterday we paid for a private scan to double check and the heart is still fab and the bean has grown from 4mm to 1.15cm in a week x x Its bang on for 7weeks 2days xx

SO try and relax and get to the EPU for a scan, granted the heart beat doesnt show until 6 weeks and the baby will be soo small at 4 weeks ... so the scan wont really be able to tell you anything really? Not sure??

Just waiting for the on call specialist to ring now and then when OH comes home will pop to A&E.

The bleeding wasnt a flow as such but Ive had terrible trapped wind (TMI I Know!) and everytime I strained brownish stuff would come out.

Yes thats what I was like .. was coming out when I "pushed" or when I moved around alot x

Thank you for all your support guys you are better than my GP! I spoke to my specialist last night and going in to do bloods this morning. I wont be able to do the the second blood test as I will be off on holidays but she said it will at least give us an idea.

My specalist was a bit annoyed at my GP for saying the pregnancy had ended since he did no tests or anything! She has also booked me in for a transvaginal scan for when I get back as well.

I feel a lot calmer today and my temperature is still high and not dipped. I am keeping my fingers tightly crossed!

Please keep us informed cz in experiencing te same thing but when I wipe and every now and again on me knickers, I've got an appointment with my GP today aswell but am so worried I love this baby so mug already and I'm only 5 weeks xxxx
