Hcg level 28 at 11dpo -- AF not due for 2 days - nurse says it's low???

Honestly it doesn't matter what the first number is, it's more important to see that they're doubling every 48 hours. Are you going back in for another test? In my opinion hcg levels have to start somewhere so I don't think it's too low. Mine was 91 at 12dpo and 309 at 15 dpo.

With my MC in Dec my level was 27 at 14dpo and progesterone was 9, I was also spotting.

This time I feel pregnant, hcg was 28 at 11dpo and progesterone was 15.2 with no spotting.

Why does the nurse think its "low"?

I ovulated on CD20 and have an avg 14 day LP so AF is not due until the 14th at the earliest. She kept referencing "4 weeks" technically it's 4w3d from my LMP but i do ovulate late, wouldn't I be considered 3w5d (2 weeks before O and then 12dpo)??

Any idea?

That number doesn't sound low, but the doubling is what matters. I started at 74 HCG @ 14 DPO, because I implanted late. If bean doesn't snuggle in until 11-12 DPO, you won't get high numbers right away. I hope you get good news on your next set of blood work

Thank you. I got my positive at 9dpo it was very faint and has progressed nicely. Getting darker every day. I "feel" pregnant. Just worried by how she sounded and with my last pregnancy ending in MC. 74 at 14dpo? Did they scare you that it was low too?

One single number doesn't say very much. All that matters is it's doubling as fast as it should be

Let us know when you get your next results. Are your HPTs getting darker? If so I don't think there's anything to worry about

Yes they are. I'm just worried bc of how she sounded and with the miscarriage.

Here's my testing thread ... Look at page 11 to see my progression pic 10-12dpo (all pics were taken before 10mins on the day)

Looks great!! If they're progressing, your hcg is rising, which is a fab sign

Hi there, I was the same. Went to dr on Tuesday and HCG levels were 26 tested again on Thursday and they were 57 - I was only due for AF yesterday. All positive signs as long as it is increasing
