Swear I just felt baby move (12 weeks) anybody else?!

Hi everyone,

I was just laying in bed and I had a weird fluttering sensation right where my uterus is for like a minute. It was like when your eye twitches and has a crazy spasm.

I've heard it's too early to be feeling the baby move at 12 weeks, but it just felt like as if it was moving around.

I did google it but I came across boards that always tell you the worst - so staying clear from them!

Anybody else had the same feeling? Or know what it could be?

I'm only ten weeks but this is my third baby and I can deffo feel baby move about.. It's usually at night when I'm laid in bed. It's just one of those feelings you never ever forget x

I just came on to say the same thing!

I just felt all these crazy jumps and twitches way down low. It's just above my pubic bone on the left.

Sort of like a twitching muscle but not, more like a tapping feeling? Hard to explain.

It's irregular and some twitches are big, some light, they are pretty much what I remember from being pregnant last time.

Yesterday my midwife asked me if I was feeling movement as she could feel my uterus.

Sounds like baby chick..... It's a hard feeling to describe! I just remember having that feeling with my sons... I didn't feel anything with my first till 18weeks gone my second was a lot quicker and this pregnancy is a lot quicker lol

I first got the twitches at 14 weeks with Thomas, this is my 4th pregnancy but 2nd to get this far. It's so cool, even if it's just some weird ticking muscle I'm going to just believe it's the baby haha. It really feels like a baby, but according to my last scan I'm not even 10 weeks yet, so I'm betting it's not.

You are not the only one. I am 11 weeks and 2 days today and i also feel fluttering sometimes. Some doctors say its just gas but it doesn't feel like gas to me. This is my second pregnancy and i know the feeling. Enjoy those spasms. The kicks are soon to come!

Gas feels nothing like movements to me, I dunno why doctors say that. Gas arrives pretty quickly out the other end anyway lol.

Sounds like it was the baby..

I started feeling "flutters" at 12 weeks. I've always described it as feeling like a finger or object is rubbing against my insides, not a gas feeling at all.

Definately

I thought I was crazy at first. I was laying in bed the other night and felt it and was like umm.... that was NOT gas lol then it did it again and I knew what it was. I've talked with several moms and they said its possible. I can't wait till I can feel kicks!

I know this thread is old, but Tuesday I felt 3 tiny "bubbles" popping while reading. I never felt it again and kind of blew it off. Then yesterday I was leaning forward and felt a "wiggle"! Then tonight again, "wiggle" when I was leaning forward, so I grabbed my Doppler (keep in mind it usually takes 2-10 minutes to find baby) and put it right over where I felt movement and the heartbeat was right there, louder than ever! I am already showing too.

Another thing I thought was odd - the heartbeat was always down by my pubic bone, but tonight it was by my belly button! I told someone on another forum and she basically told me I'm crazy, the uterus can't be up that high, and I was hearing my heartbeat. I didn't know my heartbeat was 170bpm, but okay :P
