implantation bleeding or maybe m/c?

hi all,

I haven't hit the boards in a while (ttc after a loss) but thought I might try and get a bit of info about implantation bleeding.

I got my (very unexpected) BFP today! Only to have a dark shadow cast over it hours later when I started spotting.

My period isn't due for another 5 days. Any experiences regarding implantation bleeding & when it occurred would help to ease my weary mind.

Thanks!

i had ib 3 days after i got my bfp-- bfp @9dpo, beta+ @11dpo, bleeding @ 12dpo. the spotting was fairly dark brown. it was one big smear when i wiped and then continued- enough to show on a pantyliner- for about 2 more hours before stopping. hope this helps and hope your bean is a sticky one!

thanks for your reply!

I'm def in the "paranoid" part of early pregnancy...on high alert after my last m/c. so reading other experiences is really helpful right now.

i'm beginning to think that the paranoid part of pregnancy is pretty much just the pregnancy i think after that is when the real actual worrying starts!
