So after having a lot of brown blood on Wednesday, I've been worried. Had my first Midwife appt yesterday morning. She listened to my concerns and really helped to aleviate them. But, I still have no real answers.
She did a pap and internal exam to check my uterus size. She said my uterus is consistent with being 6-8 weeks pregnant. She sent me for an HCG draw....I should get the results today and I go in for another draw on Sunday. My levels were 981 at 4 1/2 weeks and went up to over 9,000 a few days later but I haven't had a draw since until yesterday. She ordered an ultrasound for me. I have that on Wednesday and another follow up appt on Thursday.

When she did my pap, she showed me the 'old blood' she foud. She said my cervix is long and thick as it should be and she saw no external (as in outside the cervix) signs of a miscarriage. She said the fact that I still have pregnancy symptoms is a good sign but the symptoms have decreased in severity which has me more worried.
My boobs only hurt in the morning...my appetite is still non-existant. I still get small waves of nausea and I have the exhaustion.

So, it's back to the waiting game...waiting for levels, and the ultrasound. FX it's good news so I can relax!
