I was told to eat them as I normally had been before pregnancy. Basically don't change anything. If you eat lots then continue to eat lots etc. It could be the dramatic change of lots to none or vice versa that's causing some of these issues. It sounds like no one really knows though. That's why I'm sticking with the "do as you usually do" method.

Well I think ill wait to speak to my midwife, im seeing her on Tuesday anyway, I dont agree that its nonsense at all, and I dont think anybody should be saying that to a group of very different ladies. I do believe everybody reacts differently to things, and the last thing any of us want is to endanger our unborn young!
Rant over lol!
Its better to be aware and have the right information so we can make the right choices :-)

my first pregnancy in 2010 my midwife told me to stay away from nuts and mayonaise this time round she says nuts are fine to eat and so is supermarket jar mayonaise , but im still going to avoid them all together as my midwife said previous research as now showed that it doesnt but research is still taking place ... but im not one to take a risk i love dry roasted peanuts to but would rather not eat thm for 9 months than live thinking should i have ate that and be guilty

The only thing I am going to stay is that studies have NOT proven a connection between peanut allegies in kids being linked to their mothers eating peanuts while pregnant.
