Anyone who tested early - before AF was due - Page 3

Hi ladies, I got a faint bfp today at 10 dpo after thinking I might be going crazy imagining lines yesterday! I got the same my last pregnancy - a faint positive at 10dpo that gradually got darker. I was terrified then and am now that AF would still arrive and it's a chemical. I knew I was PG before testing hence testing at 9dpo!!

I won't be going to the docs until after my missed period and the line is much darker I would just book in with the Midwife if it was a straightforward one but I know my GP needs to make a referral to my haemotologist because of issues last time.

I am also having some light cramping, but definitely different from AF cramps, and way different from the cramping when I m/c. I'm pleased with my test progression so far. I just want to see a test line as dark as the control and then I think I'll be able to stop testing.

I got mine at 9dpo and didn't know if AF would show up or not (and whether I would have a chemical) lol..AF was due Monday and nothing...the human body is just amazing!! lol...Congratulations on your BFP! x

I got my bfp 4 days before my period was due and I was soooo anxious that my period would just appear on cue as I was soooo regular. But I haven't spotted or anything...

It's a very natural thing to be anxious though... This will pass x

argh. I stupidly tested again this morning on a 10miu cheapie strip test and its STILL soooo faint. I am 13 DPO (ish) and found out when I was 10DPO so would think that it should be darker. Wondering whether to buy a digital test just to see whether it shows up more strongly.

Just incredibly cheap strip tests which I purchased off Amazon. They were great at detecting HCG levels so early though!

Hi Ladies! Congrats to all the new BFPs! I was wondering if anybody tested negative with a FRER at 9 DPO (or 5 days before expected AF) and was actually pregnant? I have one test left and I want to save it for when AF is due( the 19th). Thanks!

Ohmigosh, I tested + on 8 DPO! talk about early! That was an entire week before AF was due. I'm 17 DPO today and still thinking AF is going to show up. My lines are super super dark today thought so I'm still feeling really good, and I have my first doc appt on Wednesday and I'm going to ask for two day bloods just to make sure the levels are rising properly. I don't think I will stop looking for blood until I am 13 weeks.
