When do I take out my belly ring?

What are some suggestions for how to deal with a belly ring?
I really don't want it to heal over, I'm thinking of getting one of those pregnancy rings.

What did you guys do? Thanks!

A lot of ladies get the maternity rings. I ended up just taking mine out at 20 weeks. I feel like I have had it in long enough so it won't close up, and if it does, I have no problem re-piercing it.

I've never taken mine out. I'm 30 weeks pregnant with my 4th and I've always worn mine up until the day I deliver.

Just ordered 3 flexible belly rings, the longer ones are self-threading, so I can cut them shorter if I want to.

I'm going to put in the middle one when it gets here in a few days, and keep it in until my belly button stretches (if it does). If wearing the longer ones doesn't work out... I will just take it out, and risk it healing.
Either way, since they are self-threading I can wear them after the pregnancy as well!

Thanks for the advice!

I took mine out at around 20 weeks, the normal bar got too tight and the maternity bar was a horrible texture I just didn't like. I don't wear it now but if I wanted to I still could it hasn't closed over.
