Hi, I am nearly 9 weeks pregnant. Paranoid about all sorts as have had 4 previous losses, but also blessed with 3 lovely boys
Anyhow, this time I have seen heartbeat twice, but after straining for a BM (sorry!) I had pink/watery vaginal spotting. Of course it has thrown me into hysteria! Not had it since, and having googled it seems I'm not alone. Still feeling sick etc but eating myself up taking the temperature of this pregnancy with every second!
Yup I've heard this is quite a common thing from the time I've spent on bnb. Something with the staining can irritate the cervix. I recommend adding a bit more fiber in your diet because the folic acid can constipate you. I usually take two metamucil tablet a day and it helps to soften everything up a bit. But also increase what your drinking real fruit juices are a great way to loosen things up down there.
Thanks guys!! I have a long term bowel problem and take movicol but ran out and ooops!!
I hope all is ok this time, I'm 40 and this is my last shot, so even if we get to 12 weeks I've got to get through the Downs screening. Ho hum!
im 22 weeks with twins and have pink spotting every month around the time my period would be due! the thing I have found to work EXTREMELY good for morning sickness and constipation is the vitamins I take. http://www.amazon.com/Rainbow-Light-..._sim_sbs_hpc_6 its 12$ at cvs
I still get this every couple of weeks (or everytime I strain I suppose) I've being diagnosed with cervical ectropian which basically means I have abnormal cells on my cervix (that are usually found in the womb) and are prone to bleeding when irritated in anyway!
This has no effect on the baby and I've been told shouldn't effect the pregnancy at all - still unnerving though!!
Try not to worry if you've seem Hb you have a great chance of everything being just fine!
