ultrasound at the doctors office?

Hi all im about 10 weeks and i went in to my booking appointment with the midwives and then had a doctors appointment today. while i was in there the doctor tried to give me an ultrasound but she said she only seen the sac and i have to go in to book a proper ultrasound in a couple days. She said the machines the doctors use werent very high resolution but im still worried wouldnt they be able to see something by now even with low resolution. im a little worried to say the least

Hi! Just wanted to reassure you. Many of the OB have really old equipment and depending on various factors including their skill, your body type, status of fluid in the bladder they may not be able to see much. So don't count yourself out .... good luck with the real scan!

I know the wait must be tough! But I don't think you need to panic, I know the ultrasound machine at my doc is not the best either so I was sent an hour away to a specific hospital with high quality machines to do my first trimester screen. I agree with Ms. Shortie! Let us know how it goes!
