Yes! I'm worried! I'm due in 5 days and dd is 18 months in 4 days!

The way I see it is people cope with twins/triplets etc so I can cope with two under two.

It will be tough but we will be ok. I'm lucky as y dh is v supportive but no matter what your living arrangements are you and your childrens father have a duty to provide a good home for your babies so talk to him and tell him what you need

I had 16 months between my two boys and although it is difficult you do manage and now it is so easy. Some things that helped me cope: when feeding my newborn, I made sure to have snacks and activities for my eldest to be distracted with(also block doors if they can open or use gates, because my ds1 realised I was too busy to chase after him, so would escape upstairs or go where he knew he wasn't allowed, so by keeping him "locked" in made it less stressful!) I changed their nappies one after the other, bathed them together and let my ds1 play a little longer while I got my ds2 dressed, and then put ds2 in his baby chair with toys while I took care of ds1. If by yourself I put ds2 to bed first- he became a great sleeper because I didn't have time to cuddle him, sad but true- and then I could read ds1 a story and put him to bed. If you are in a good enough routine with your first, it is pretty easy to slot #2 in. My boys are best friends now and play together so well, I barely get a look in! Good luck, you can do it!

My DD will be 20 months when the baby is born and I like abroad so no family or close friends to help out- but as mindy-mini said- it must be easier than twins right?
My biggest fear is actually leaving the house- supermarket shopping is already a test- not sure how it'll work with 2!
I guess it's about being super organised and I'm hoping I'll know what I'm doing a bit more and so will be a bit more relaxed.

How is you daughter in general now? Easy? Challenging? How does she sleep?
We're so lucky in that our little girl is so good, adapts well, sleeps well, always happy, not clingy etc so hoping she won't be too put out and also hoping the new baby will be exactly the same!

I've been trying to ignore my worries recently and focus more on how amazing it wil be for them to be close in age and that it's another fantastic addition to the family.

You will be surprised at how well you will adapt when baby #2 comes along !
My sons are just UNDER 12 months apart :O and I found out I was pregnant with #2 a few weeks before my husband was deployed for 8 months !!!
Had a whole pregnancy + baby by myself and I had no idea how I was going to do it all.
It might seem impossible at times but I guarantee you will be able to figure it out pretty quickly

My little girl will be 19 months old and I'm also a tad anxious about the whole thing. I also live abroad so I won't have the support of my family and friends. However, I also find that when I worry about something, it's never quite so bad as I imagined. Well, fingers crossed anyway!!
