I've not tried the dopler again as I thought I'd get a bit obsessive with it but I can see how it can reassure you.
Put your feet up and rest as much as possible! . . . Have you still no pain? And no red blood is a good sign.
I really do hope everything turns out ok x
No pain, but I didn't have last time either. What I'm holding on to is that last time the bleeding began quite suddenly on the Monday, was red straight away and by Tuesday was heavy. This is nothing like that bleed - obviously there's no point in comparing, but so far I have only had brown / pink 'wipes' and nothing on a pad

Luckily my two team colleagues know about this pregnancy, and the previous mc, so I will let them know what's happening and they will hopefully be able to support me in taking it easy. Easier said than done in the last week before Christmas at a primary school!!

Thank you for all your concern x

I suddenly thought, what if I start to miscarry on Christmas Eve or something? Had just about come to terms with waiting for 12 week scan, but then thought it might all start to go wrong over Christmas and that will be awful, especially since hardly any family even know I'm pregnant. So I've decided that not knowing is not an option.

I've just found a Babybond slot at their Brighton clinic at 17:10 tomorrow, which will mean 1hr15 drive each way, but then at least we'll know. At least this way, if it's bad news, I'm in control and won't be just waiting.

Fingers crossed for me please

Oh Hinky, sending positive thoughts your way - please please try to put MC out of your head I'm so glad you've booked a scan for tomorrow, it will be well worth the money and time if it puts your mind at rest over Xmas. Please let us know how you get on, I'll be thinking of you x

Absolutely same here Everything. I do feel some comfort that I've made it to third tri but I'm having irrational thoughts too

Hinky I also hope you find comfort with your Doppler. I guess I didn't know how lucky I have been with both the GP's and EPAU in my area.

No more bleeding is a very good sign too xx

More bleeding here today some is now red with clotting. Not feeling this is going to be a good outcome. Can't face calling EPAU again only to be told I'm not bleeding enough yet, so we'll keep our private appt this afternoon. Not holding out much hope now though. Just want to get today over with.

Hinky I'm so sorry to hear that I'm still keeping everything crossed for you that the bleed has been caused by something else, I can only imagine what you are going through right now though. Hoping to hear some positive news from your scan later on and we're all here for you

aw big hugs hon - so sorry you are having to go through this x

so frustrating when you get dismissive advice from the epac - with my first pg we ended up travelling a fair way for a private scan as they just dismissed me

Im so hoping for a positive scan for you hon - big hugs xx

Good luck for your private scan. Hoping it's a SCH like mine was, I had very heavy bleeding with it, much worse than AF. My EPU were great and slotted me in for a scan within 24 hours, but once I got past 12w the NHS didn't want to know, so we ended up doing the same as you at 16w! Thank goodness fr babybond!
Will be thinking of you this afternoon xx
