Congrats Zoboe!!

Wishn, i too have been using magnesium, but in spray form topically. I read that sometimes morning sickness can be a result of low levels of magnesium. I started last night and am hoping to see improvement. I also have Natural Vitalityís natural calm magnesium supplement that you drink. Between the magnesium and citrus Iím praying a miracle takes place. I saw acupressure bracelets that I will look into next (thanks again Wishn for mentioning it)

Welcome Zoboe!

Jwilly the product is Cyto-matrix liquid calcium magnesium supplement. Itís not a heartburn remedy, just a mineral supplement, but I honestly think it works for me. Zero heartburn so far.

Nogreater I also got some Preggie Pop Drops with vitamin B6 on amazon. I had one last night, which makes me wonder if thatís why Iím feeling okay today. I have a vomiting phobia...I will literally try anything that claims to help with nausea.

I'm really sorry to see your news Randa.

Congratulations Zoboe!

I finally spoke to my bereavement midwife earlier, my first appointment and scan is 27th March at 10:30. She's set up a 'next pregnancy' clinic that runs once a week to support people through pregnancies after loss. I'll be able to drop into that clinic and be seen by her and/or a consultant every week if I need to.

RandaPanda, your doctor sounds like a right arse. I would be so angry if mine said that to me, I find that really belittling! I also completely disagree with him deciding not to redo bloods, I think he should. I also don't think a scan would kill him.
I'm really sorry he's so blasť about this.
If this is a miscarriage then I don't know when things would happen, that's hard to say, and tbh partly why they should be monitoring you. If it is a mc then they should be keeping an eye on you to make sure things are going in the right direction, but equally as much they should be making damn well sure it is really a mc and not just leaving you to it like this. That's made me so angry for you

Wishn, I will have to try to the preview pop drops. I did okay last night and even this morning, but then decided it would be healthy to eat a salad for breakfast and almost threw up. I steamed an entire head of broccoli and it was one of the best things Iíve eaten in awhile.

Loves cookies, thatís so nice that they have a support group for pregnancy after loss. Iím going to check my area to see if there anything similar.

Randa, how are you? My first miscarriage I started bleeding and cramping very heavily almost immediately after some light pink spotting. However, my midwife still ordered a scan, which showed there was still some retained placenta. While it resolved on its own, itís important that they monitor you. Iím sorry again

Ladies, are any of you experiencing cramping? I am 16 DPO today (4 weeks, 3 days) and have had on and off cramps every day since 10 DPO. This is my first pregnancy so I have no idea whether I should be concerned or not. I have not had any spotting at all.

Lovescookies that is great that youíre getting such good support and reassurance. Pregnancy after loss is a whole different ballgame.

Nogreater I ordered some magnesium oil spray this morning, thanks for the tip!

I think Iím more anxious than I realize. I had a dream last night that I was bleeding and I just kept saying ďitís overĒ. I have no bleeding or cramping today and my nausea is back with a vengeance (due to a bad sleep Iím sure). But still I canít help but worry.

Lady I think the cramping is normal. I had quite a bit the first week after my BFP. Itís the embryo burrowing into your uterus and also your uterus stretching and growing. If you have heavier cramping plus red blood, that might be cause for concern.

Lady, cramping is normal. Iíve experienced it with all of my pregnancies. With first pregnancies you donít really know what to expect but truly all pregnancies are unique. Iíve never had the level of morning sickness I have with this one.

Wishn, I hope you like the magnesium oil spray. Iíve been using it for years but itís sat untouched for a few months until now. I just finished drinking some magnesium hoping that will help a bit. Then Iím going to the market in search of anything to relieve my symptoms. And omg I had a dream last I went to the bathroom and was bleeding with clots only to wake up and realize it wasnít in fact over. My spotting is over and no cramping today for me either but Iím so unbelievably sick I could cry.
