Mums who are teachers please read x

Hi,

So I know I am probably doing everyones nut in right now but I am really stressing about my Mat pay.

I know I get some time on full pay, then some at 90 per cent but then quite a while at 50 per cent plus SMP.

I currently take home 1570 per month - any mums who can tell me during the 50 per cent plus SMP part what they actually took home would be great, I just want to know how much I will be out of pocket and have done sums but terrified that this is really what I will take back. Any mums can tell me your real experience of how much ur salary dropped by during mat leave, I would be very grateful - ppl just keep giving me percentages etc but as I said in a previous post, friend of mine took 2 days off unpaid to go to a wedding and lost hundreds cause of a weird calculation they did. So numbers would be helpful here, Just realised writing this how stressed out I am getting, sorry I just want the reality of what my monthly pay will look like.
