Apparently at nearly 14 weeks a normal baby would weigh 45 grams, that means mine weigh 90 grams, the same as a 16 week fetus, and if you added both 14 week babies together lengthwise they are as long as a 20 week old.

So we are allowed to start showing more! My friend said she was in maternity clothes by 3 months..

This is me yesterday afternoon at 13 1/2 weeks =)[/QUOTE

Mojo??? What's that? Im 13 weeks 2days and all I do is sleep, you lucky thing.

I started growing out of my cloths at 10 weeks and now using maternity cloths. Had a bump at 8 weeks and getting bigger yet the doc yesterday thinks it small for twins, this is my first pregnancy to get past 6-8 weeks.
Cute bump you have.
Haha by mojo Im not meaning sexual mojo, thats still off the menu!
Is your bump smaller than mine or bigger?? My midwife didnt say anything about my size, shes not worried about low birth weights as my last two were in the mid to late 9lbs. She predicts each twin will be at least 7lbs.

Im trying to toss up wether to go for an elective C sec or try naturally, what would you think in my situation? (ive had two natural births but both with episiotomys and forceps/ventouse as they both got stuck for two hours).

I think I am about the same, may put a pic up tomorrow.
I have been told by my specalist that I have to have a c section no later than 34 to 36 weeks due to been a high risk and I was really want to do natural but it's in babies best interest!! Did you have good births for your first two? If so natural would be a good way to go depending if that is the way that they want to be born, they could have other plans lol....

Hello everyone! Congrats on the twin BFP's! I have 2 children already and have had 2 MC. After heavy, early bleeding that the doctor thought was the result of a chemical pregnancy, my beta came back at 30 at just a week after IUI. It has since steadily climbed and MS has reared it's ugly head! I started bleeding again Monday and found out that we are pregnant with TWINS! I was in complete shock! We have been trying for one more child for several years now and had to finally start fertility treatments. So, thanks to gonal-f and IUI, we are going to now have 4 children! I am still in shock!! I am 5 weeks 4 days today. The yolk sacs were visible today and the bleeding has stopped again. So excited for next week's scan to see my babies!!
Yay you're in my boat! Wanted one more and got two! IUI is more likely to have twins tho isnt it as you would be on some kind of drug like clomid? Or is that what gonal-f is? Did you know you had two eggs there? (My sis in law did IUI so I know a bit about it).
Being a mum of 4 is not something I ever saw myself being, 3 seems still like a normal tidy family with a normal car, 4 seems like a tribe with a people mover/van!! But hey, Im sure we will love them to bits! And their childhood will be fun. I am oldest of 7 kids and we had a blast, but the house was messy as all the time and we barely got any attention from Mum who was always running round like a headless chicken with a todler hanging off her and a big round pregnant tummy! lol
Glad your bleeding has stopped, hopefully morning sickness doesnt hang round too long
Yes, we are in the same boat! My husband freaked at first because he really was unsure about even having more since they are so far apart and I kept MC. On the day I had my IUI, I had 6 follicles. I was surprised they didn't cancel my cycle. Yes, gonal-f is like clomid but in injectable form.
I have been freaking out because I am spotting like every other day. I'm only 6 weeks today so I do not feel like I am in the clear at all. I can't wait to see my little beans again on Wednesday. My RE said we should see heartbeats. I hope so because I don't think I can take anymore baby bad news in this lifetime!!

I think our bumps are about the same size, may put a pic up at some stage!!
Did you have good births with your first two??? I wanted to do natural with mine but have been told by my specialist that they will have to be delivered by c section no later that 34 weeks grr not really wanting a c section. depending on what the doc says to you I think that there would be nothing wrong with natural but if you had probs with your first two a c section maybe the way

Ahem.... I'm from NZ! The Waikato to be exact. England is just a little bit far to travel for monthly meetings!

Both births before hand were natural but with forceps and ventouse as they were large babies and I have narrow hips, they just wouldnt come out! Im wondering tho if these two are only 7lb each then I might be able to push them out??? The pain of the last two labours and birth was AWFUL and I wouldn't be displeased at all if they were breech and had to get a C section. The only thing I wouldnt like is having a long hospital stay, and also another scar on my body! Why 34 weeks? I think I'm allowed to go up to 38 weeks (hoping for 37 tho).

Why won't your dr let you go past 34 weeks? My dr said she won't let me go past 37 weeks and I can deliver naturally only if the first one is head down and come out naturally. It doesn't matter the position of the 2nd one just so the first can come out.
