dont mind having bigger bump but bit confusing lol x
It's probably because you are carrying quite low hun. I was always an hourglass shape before and I'm carrying pretty high, so my bump filled me out where I am normally thinnest. Before clothes used to be loose on me around my middle. I've also only gained an inch on my hips x

Thanks ladies for the updates on what happens at the 28wk appt with the midwife
Really fancy a 3D scan now! Hope you'll all post your pics, would love to see them.

Sunshine - Really hope the Physio is a help to you! It's a horrible thing to have to deal with

Bumpycat - Thanks for the info on appointments in Lothian, it's good to know what to expect

My midwife stuck a sheet on the inside cover of my blue folder that has all the phone numbers and weeks-for-appointments, it's really handy. I'm being covered by Corstorphine as I live in Granton.

Are you going to ERI, or Livingstone? I'm hoping for the new birthing centre at ERI. You're due really close to me, we might be in at the same time!

That totally makes sense. I'm carrying high as well, and the bump is really sticking out in the middle, well above my jeans waistline. It actually makes the under-bump maternity jeans not work quite so well for me as they tend to fold over if I don't have them secured with a belly band. Possibly they'll fit better as I get bigger, I'm not even 28 weeks yet. I'm only wearing jeans to work anyway, I've completely given up at home and live in pregnancy yoga bottoms as much as possible.

No I dont think its SPD. Bump is just taking its toll on my back and hips. Im struggling to move sometimes, hips are locking and getting very little sleep because of severe back pain. Ive always had back pain to some degree as I have scoliosis but pregnancy is making it far worse unfortunately. Reckon physio will give me a bump/back support and some exercises. x

I was hoping for the new birthing centre at the Royal as well, looks really lovely. If that's not possible then Simpsons will be where I go.
We may well be in at the same time
